I did a class here to learn to make an equilateral triangle quilt. As an add-on, we also got to try machine quilting, something I hadn’t tried on my ancient Bernina in Oz. But on my whizzy new machine and with some hints from the class I’ve machine quilted my first quilt😀!
Am very pleased with the result. Another one is in the planning!

It looks good! What machine did you get? My sewing machine is older than me, it still works but I’m not sure it will last forever 😀 So I’m on the lookout for recommendations!

I had been thinking about a new machine for quite a while but held off when I knew we were coming to NZ. My old machine was a Bernina and this one is too – it does much more than I will probably ever need but lots of room to grow!
